Where can I see your products?

You can visit our showroom in central Norwich where you’ll be able to see all the desktop options we offer, try the desks and seating and see lots of the accessories too.  

There’s on-street parking just outside the building and long Heigham Street as well as 2 hours free parking for shoppers, diagonally opposite.

Let us know if you’re visiting by train and we’ll pick you up from the station. 

Can I buy from your showroom and take away on the day?

Products we hold in stock can be bought and taken away on the day.  If you have something specific in mind get in touch before you visit to make sure it’s in stock.

Can I try a desk before I buy it?

Yes you can try a desk before you buy!  We offer a free trial within 30 miles of Norwich. You can book a desk trial here.


What is a sit stand desk?

A sit-stand desk or standing desk adjusts to allow you to change your working height from sitting to standing and anywhere in between so that you can enjoy a fully flexible, ergonomic workplace and all the benefits that active working brings to the office environment.

There are different types of height adjustable desk, including crank-operated, pneumatic and electric as well as standing desk converters. Electric desks are the most popular as they are quicker and more convenient to adjust.

Can I order a desk frame without a desktop?

Yes of course, the Aura frame is available to purchase as a frame only option.

Can I reuse my existing desktop?

You can reuse your existing desktop if it’s size is between 1100mm and 2000mm long and 750mm and 1000mm wide.

The desktop sits on end bars that are 600mm long, so you could go down to a 610mm width top but bear in mind the desk feet are 750mm and will extend slightly at the front and back of the desk.

Are the desks easy to assemble?

Quick and simple, the Aura frame is delivered semi-assembled and requires minimal set-up. However, it’s important to note that the time it takes to assemble is solely dependent on ability and tools used.

How does the desk height adjust?

All our electric Adjustable desk height – the Aura,


Electric height adjustable desks are controlled at the touch of a button.  A small panel with up/down control buttons attaches to the underside of the desktop and allows the desk to move seamlessly up and down.

Memory controllers are available as an upgrade, if preferred. Simple up/down controllers are supplied as standard.

How long is a desk warranty and what does it cover?

All our height adjustable desks come with a 5-year manufacturers warranty that covers the frame construction, material and production defects which also includes the electrical components.

Is the desk assembly service available in London?

Yes, our desk assembly service is available in London, both central London and greater London.

In fact the service is available nationally.  We have customers nationwide including Brighton, Leeds, Cambridge, Birmingham, Cardiff and Glasgow.

Pricing varies depending on location and we do try to piggy back deliveries so that we can offer the best prices.

Do the desktops have positioning holes?
Our desktops are supplied without specific positioning holes to allow for personal preference within the recommended guidelines.
These are the recommended frame widths per desktop size. 5-10mm either way is within tolerance to a maximum 1850mm.
1200mm top – frame width 1140mm  
1400mm top – frame width 1340mm
1600mm top – frame width 1540mm
1800mm top – frame width 1740mm
Maximum frame width – 1850mm.
Desktops measuring 2000mm and over – 1850mm max.
Can I get a sample of the solid wood or bamboo?

Yes of course, we send out small samples by post.

Just let us know what you’re interested in and the delivery address.


What is active seating?

Active seating allows and/or encourages you to be active even when you’re sitting.  This added flexibility and movement is good for the body and can make some seated tasks easier to perform.

How long is the warranty on seating?

All HAG seating has a 10-year warranty. 

Aeris seating comes with a 3-year warranty.

What's the difference between the Capisco chairs?

The HAG Capisco 8106 has a cushioned seat and backrest and is fully upholstered.
The Capisco Puls chair has a plastic seat and backrest with two seat cushioning options:-

the 8010 model that has an upholstered sitting panel in the centre of the seat and
the 8020 version that has a removable seat cushion that covers the whole seat.

The additional padding on the 8020 means it’s more comfortable than the 8010 when perching.

Can I get a chair delivered quickly?
The Capisco 8106 in black is usually a stock item as well as the black and white Capisco Puls chairs and are ready to ship in 2-3 working days.
Delivery of HÅG chairs varies depending on the design chosen and the choice of upholstery fabric.
Lead times vary for special order chairs, see each product page for specific lead times.
Do HÅG chairs arrive assembled?

HÅG Capisco and Capisco Puls chairs are delivered boxed and either fully assembled or needing minimal assembly.

Can I order upholstery samples before I buy?

Yes of course, we will arrange for samples to be sent to you if you let us know which fabrics you’re interested in here.

Do the chairs have a weight limit?

The HAG Capisco and Capisco Puls have a European Standard certification based on 8- hours use daily for up to 110kg (17.3 stone).

Whereas the HAG SoFi and HAG Futu have a British Standard certification for more than 8 hours daily use for up to 150kg (23.6 stone)


Do you ship internationally?

We offer free shipping to UK mainland addresses and work with freight forwarding companies and couriers to offer international delivery at an additional charge.

How long will my order take to deliver?

Orders are dispatched using a next day courier delivery service. Quick ship desks and stock items are normally dispatched within 48 hours. Lead time for made-to-order and custom products is between 4-6 weeks. On rare occasions slightly longer, but we’ll keep you updated.

How long does it take to get a chair delivered?
Delivery of HÅG chairs varies depending on the design chosen and the choice of upholstery fabric.
The Capisco 8106 in black is usually a stock item for delivery and Capisco Puls in black and white are in-stock and ready to ship in 2-3 working days. Lead times vary for special order chairs, see each product page for specific lead times.
What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged you must contact us by phone 01603 951595 or email hello@flomtionstudio.com within 24 hours of receipt, so that we can arrange for a replacement to be sent and return of the faulty item.

Can I get a timed delivery?

Your goods will be delivered by courier (unless you’ve ordered a set-up service) between 9am and 6pm.  

Timed deliveries can be arranged at an additional charge. The options are before 9am, 10am and noon. Let us know when placing your order and we’ll be in touch to arrange.


How do I order a desk with a custom size desktop?

How do I get a quote for various items?

Let us know which products you’re interested in including the quantities and we’ll get back to you with a quote usually within 24 hours.

How do I go about making payment?

Can I try a desk before I buy?

Yes you can try a desk before you buy! 

We offer a free desk trial within 30 miles of Norwich. If you would like to book a trial you can do so via the following form here.

Free trial, what's the catch?

No catch.  A free two week desk trial is available within 30 miles of Norwich.  We deliver, set up and collect again if you decide not to keep the desk, all completely free of charge.

What if I don't want the desk after the trial?

If you decide that the desk isn’t for you, let us know before the end of the two week trial so that we can arrange collection.

We will personally deliver and collect any unwanted trial items within 30 miles of Norwich.


What if I want to return my order?

We want all our customers to be completely happy with their purchases but we also understand that sometimes the product just doesn’t fit. That’s why we make the whole process easy.

Trouble shooting

How do you reset the Aura desk?

Aura frame reset instructions – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

When your desk is assembled for the first time, it is important to reset the legs/columns before use – this process synchronises the columns and ensures they move in unison.

The arrow shape buttons on the up/down height controller indicate the direction of movement and the desk will only move when a control button is pressed.
It is important to reset your desk when:

• it’s been moved (the desk should be at its lowest height when moved)
• it’s not level
• it’s not been reset for a month

Either take the desk down to its lowest position by pressing the down button or press both height control arrow buttons at the same time, continue pressing until both columns are in the lowest position. Continue pressing until you hear a beep sound, this signals the reset is complete and the desk is ready to use.

My desk isn't moving what shall I do?

If your desk stops moving try these simple checks before getting in touch with us:

  • Check the power connection.
  • Check that all the cables are connected correctly.
  • Check the fuse in the power plug.
  • Check that the height controller is connected.
  • Disconnect all the cabling, reconnect and test again.

If the desk still doesn’t move after all of the above, get in touch for further details.
